Technology
Polarized lenses consist of a number of functional elements that are carefully bonded together to create a high-performance optical product: The main element of the sandwich lens construction is the polarizing filter located in the center. Both sides of the filter are coated with UV light absorbers, which block 100% of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays. Shatterproof, optically corrected cushion elements are laminated to both sides of the UV absorbers, and then a unique anti-scratch coating is applied to the outer surfaces. All Gill Sailing sunglasses are designed to float.
